Wouldn't have thought Hinchcliffe had played for us the bubbles he chats on commentary.
He very rarely has anything positive to say about us and when he does he quickly counters it with something negative.Wouldn't have thought Hinchcliffe had played for us the bubbles he chats on commentary.
Nah. As soon as the match was over, they would've gone straight back to battering/porking their daughter-wives.Got an insight into what it must be like to be one of these armchair reds tonight.
A club legend as ‘our’ pundit and a boyhood bluenose and scouser as ‘their’ pundit.
An ex-player on co-commentary (though he didn’t turn it up to 11).
Wall-to-wall coverage post-match of your team with complete disregard for the opposition for 30 minutes.
And a lot of exaggeration about how well the team played over the 90 “because they won it after 20”.
Burnley forums will be fuming.
Pretty much this actuallyLiterally every teams fans thinks the media is against them, we are no different to anyone else. We literally had an all Everton pundit team on Sky(!) tonight and some of you are still moaning. Let’s face it people love the “everybody is against us” angle.
I’m sorry but the RS and BT are the exception that proves the rule here. They cannot possibly moan at a broadcaster who will put about 7 RS pundits in the studio and pitchside for a game like Brighton vs Burnley.Pretty much this actually
My red friends havent stopped moaning about BT ( yes BT !!! ) not giving them enough credit for how well they played against Barca.
Not a mention they lost 3-0 tho.
I’m an Aussie and the commentators on Optus Sport are so anti-Everton. 2-0 up and it’s a “surprise that Everton are playing well” rather than being seen as “Everton living up to their standards.” The sheer arrogance and ignorance from the media is what pisses clubs with ambitions of breaking the top 6 off.
How are we meant to gain new fans or a wider reach if everything we do is deemed as “lucky” or the other team’s shortcomings rather than Everton’s quality?
