I guarantee the stuff we hear about is the tip of the iceberg. Clubs/Agents will cover so much up with their financial clout. No chance Gravesen didn't have bodies hidden
Players are practically idolised from around 12 years old, constantly told they're the best, they can do no wrong as no one wants to miss the gravy train.
Idiotic and selfish. But it's not a modern day phenomena.

A former colleague of mine drove about for years without insurance or even a license. Finally caught up to him and the penalty was minimal (think he had his provisional license revoked for 6 months and a slap on the wrist/small fine). He eventually got it back and passed his test properly.
