The "what if" for me was not even at an Everton game. What if Heysel had not happened, would we have conquered Europe and retained the best squad we have ever had and gone on to dominate Europe, instead of it all falling away to nothing.

Saddens me greatly - not only the lack of memory for the dead at that game compared to Hillsborough, but the devastation it caused our team.

Heysel is not a "what if" but an "I wish". I wish it hadn't happened, never mind the footie angle, so 39 people might still be alive today.
