What if Liverpool won the title?

There's a book called the 48 Laws of Power - rule 36 talks about acknowledging (or not) something which might distress you - here's the conclusions:

Make the Right Choices

  1. You choose to let things bother you.
    · You choose not to notice the irritating offender.
  2. The most powerful move is to consider the matter trivial and unworthy of your interest.
    · What you do not react to cannot drag you down in a futile engagement.
  3. Your pride is not involved.
    · The best lesson you can teach an irritating gnat is to consign it to oblivion by ignoring it.
  4. If it is impossible to ignore then conspire in secret to do away with it.
    · Never inadvertently draw attention to the bothersome insect that will go away on its own.
  5. If you waste time and energy in such entanglements, it is your own fault.
    · Learn to play the card of disdain and turn your back on what cannot harm you in the long run.

As Davek said - leave them to it, nothing to do with us, if were to happen

All easier said than done when half (or more) of your relatives, friends and colleagues are kopites.

Fingers crossed it doesn't get that far and the Kopites are forced to watch the trophy being lifted by an already crowned Chelsea.

A last day seeing them lose the title on their own ground with Gerrard holding up one minute before Lampard smashed in a winner followed by the news Arsenal lost at Norwich and we beat Hull to get 4th would be absolutely priceless though mate

all well and good but some blues define their Evertonianism by the rivalry with Liverpool FC.

We've had a few on here stating in all seriousness they would rather we not qualify for Europe if it meant the red team not winning the league.

Ha Ha. I didn't. It was the Kopite who responded to me - then got his quoting in a mess!

Ha Ha.

Not even trying.

That kind of gobbledegook is all right for robots but here in the real world it will be a nightmare.

The very thought of working and living with the insufferable gets after winning the League is making me nauseous.

I am a Bitter Blue and I don't wanna be no other way....

Spot on.

davek has already admitted he hates the RS more than he loves Everton.

I agree with Esk, I don't take them on and you can see them getting all bent out shape because I won't react, try it you'll love it.

Exactly - in most conflict situations showing emotion cedes ground to the opponent.

Or put it another way, someone who is seeking a reaction, where can they go if you don't react?
