What has gone wrong?

I think the fact that we're having to scrap out victories against Sunderland and Derby suggests that our team is pretty tired. With our form earlier in the season we would have battered both teams (7-1, anyone?).
Basicly its down to not having a big enough squad and as this takes money it will not be sorted quickly unless we get some of Bills famed investment or he sells up:unsure:

Aye more or less sums the situation up

Calling FSF,calling FSF!!

I think that he meant by "What's gone wrong?" is that our current form is nothing near where it was earlier in the season.

You can get paralysis by analysis on this one but I think it's simple really.

I can't remember the last time we played this many matches in a season between all competitions.

We're out of gas.

and beat up. Our starting 11 is fine and hell when healthy we could win with Neville playing at his worst. We need more depth becasue again we'll have about 60 matches + preseason. At least there is no ACN and I can't think of a Everton player who's going to be at Euro 2008 this summer other than Valente.

That too.

Injuries have certainly taken their toll this year.

injury to cahill!

just look at the start we had with out him!!

and then on his return we go on a fantastic run of results then he get injured again and the results start to suffer again!

ok im not saying that its him outright but i think as a team we play better in the 4-5-1 or 4-4-1-1 when hes in the side! and that is the formation we look best in!

Agree with you Fozzy. Moyes feels a whole lot better with his choice 4-5-1. Cahill is the missing link for us. Again, we need a player who does his style and work rate on the bench. One of our two main target needs to be a Cahill type no doubt. We have struggled without him.
