Chicken livers, mash, cabbage and onion gravy.
Just made a load of mincemeat today, includes cider and rum. Might have overdone it with the spices, but it does mature over the weeks/months, and the amount I've made, years.Did a little favour for a friend & she'd just made a batch of cheese scones so gave me a couple which I've had for tea with 4 cherry tomatoes.
Mince pies & cream shortly.

There's apple in the mincemeat instead of the usual suet, now can say I'm eating well, as well.Sounds lovely that, you have nice food.

Pan-fried sea bass with chips and a couple of pickled onions.
Although fresh fish is generally quite pricey sea bass isn't too bad here thankfully. I tend to have it as a change, I eat Lemon Sole most often with cod, hake and haddock also occasionally on the menu.Top 3; possibly #1 of my favourite swimmy things (trout, salmon, walleye and swordfish fighting it out for the other spots ATM)
Low fishy factor, nice and moist if not overcooked, flakes well...just good stuff. Wish it wasn't so costly compared to other fish.
