Chips/burger pieces/cheese/burger sauce. Any crispy onions? Was this a ready meal?
Italian Charcuterie (Prosciutto crudo & Emiliano salami) green olives in garlic and chili, pearl mozzarella, glass of red wine.
[A bit highbrow for a Saturday evening, but Dune is on in a bit and I watched the Sting version so long ago I can barely remember it].

It was a ready meal, in that it was ready for the bin and not human consumption. The cheese was awful, the burger pieces didn't taste or feel like natural meat, no onions, it was so synthetic. It was awful. A tough lesson hard learned.
Just contemplating a take away, however, last thing I had was a slab of French toast with cinnamon sugar for breakfast.
Chicken escapoles? Bed of mash, a truck full of fried onion rings (beer battered?) and peppercorn sauce? Beer or wine to glug alongside?

You could have made it cheaper yourself. Thats what I’ve learnt
I could have spared the bin, the time, the cost and least of all denigrating myself and just gone hungry.

Chicken drumsticks, some weird long nobbly potatoes which were half price, runner beans and carrots.
Had myself a nice juicy Cheeseburger after watching the video below.
Roast Beef Sunday dinner
Slow cooked braised steak in onions, gravy and veg, steamed savoy and roast potatoes. Went down well.

I was considering a fancy supper, but I really couldn't be bothered. Something about jam and butter which makes a perfect combination.
