Jersey Royals, lamb, cabbage and lashings of butter and mint sauce.
Ordering from a bar with outside seating. Looking at the chicken tenders. Option of 3 or 5. Thought go with 3 and eat a bigger tea if needed.
The 3 arrived and made glad I didn't go for 5. Not tenders so much as big pieces of chicken breast battered.

Kippers, and three poached eggs with bread and butter, a classic and great combination.
I've never tried kipper purely because of the smell, which is weird because that's the same thing that stopped me eating tuna for years but now I love tuna.

If it's the residual smell that offends do what I do : get a pan, I use a small but deep frying pan and put the Kippers in. Then cover with boiling water for about five minutes and they'll be done. Then you can discard the water and there'll be little smell.
