Not being paid last month's wages was a subtle sign something was uplol, so I starting applying for a few jobs this week, and have an interview tomorrow. There's still a chance the business will continue, but I doubt it.

uff...times are getting really tough, especially for smaller firms. one of my corporate clients had issues paying me recently.

Cheers ; the owners were saying that for twelve years they've never had any problems getting credit, until this month. Our current useless government have led the country into disaster due to their pathetic inaction, especially in the last few months.

it's not just the UK, it's everywhere. My client is international, and i'm Germany-based...due to the Ukraine/Russia crisis they delayed paying my invoices.

and like UK, we here are also facing mad increases in energy bills. and getting credit has become near-impossible.

Tomato Soup - not Heinz though, twice as much as cheapo brand, smaller tin and tastes no better. Enjoyed some heavily seasoned salt & pepper bread with it as well. Now I'm scoffing Seabrooks crisps and drinking Guiness.

It's not been the healthiest of days.
