What Did You Last Eat Thread

Tonight for dinner I had @Barnfred 55 beef stew recipe and it was truly delicious. You can find the recipe here:

I slowed cooked it for 8 hours and the meat was so tender, the flavor was just amazing. Thanks, Fred. Xx

Looks really nice Sass. If you try it again, just finish it off with a dash of soy sauce. Really gives it a lift.

I have a portion in the freezer that I might just defrost tomorrow now I've seen that.

I might be a little slow on the uptake here but if anyone likes Thai food and lives around Aigburth Road give Mai’s Kitchen a try. I moved into the area in the summer and tried it for the first time today. Sticky rice with an egg and chicken and sweet potato green curry. Best, most authentic Thai food I’ve had since I was in Thailand. This cost £8, it doesn’t look much but it’s a solid 9.5/10

I will definitely try it with the soy sauce next time. It was so good that we had seconds for dinner last night and still had a bit left and froze it but wasn’t sure how well it would do with the potatoes so I removed those. When you freeze it do you keep the potatoes?

I have a portion in the freezer now and it includes the potatoes. I didn't realise there may be a problem with that. After all you get frozen potato products like chips. I'll let you know what it's like when I eat it.

Is that top of Aigburth Road near the junction of Ullet and Park Road?
