Donegal for me. Some of the best beaches on the whole island. Need the sun to enjoy them though so it’s a bit of a lottery going on holiday there. Galway with the beautiful Connemara is hard to beat, but spoiled a bit by the pesky midges. Galway city used to be the best town in Ireland. Ruined by stag and hen parties and the tourists. My own county, Down, has the beautiful mourne mountains and great scenic drives, but it also contains Newry so…..
 
I think its the value of the properties on the coast there that give it the name. But yes, some stunning coastline down the entire left hand side of our Island.
I must pop up there and check it out. Of course there's the Giants Causeway as well.

It's funny NI is on our doorstep yet a lot of folk down south don't bother venturing up there.

Galway city was nice in the 90's, but it's bit of an overrated tourist trap now though.
