I'm starting "Parisians" by Graham Robb. I'm halfway through "Juliet Naked" by Nick Hornby too, although I set it down months ago and haven't gone back which is unusual, cuz he's my favorite author.

I'm reading a few books but the one I'm enjoying most is The Mezzanine by Nicholson Baker. I've never read anything like it.

My favorite book ever is The Line of Beauty by Alan Hollinghurst. Every sentence that man writes is amazing.

D-Day by Anthony Beevor. It's excellente.

Lined up next is The Count of Monte Cristo.

I was planning to read The Count of Monte Cristo next! So many books on the 'to read' list. I keep meaning to run down to the used book store and grab a copy, I'm sure they'll have loads for 50 cents or so, but I keep forgetting so thanks for reminding me.

Now that I think about it, the last book I read was Bloody Confused by Chuck Culpepper. It's about an American sportswriter who moves to London and discovers football. It totally struck a chord with me as lots of the stuff he thought was confusing or weird, I also thought was confusing or weird when I was first learning about the Premier League. I loved his depiction of how dedicated the supporters are. And (having never been to a Premier League match -- yet -- sigh), I learned a lot from the book, too. Most people here will probably know this stuff already, but it was a really funny read and I would recommend it.

In the UK it's titled 'Up Pompey,' guess they figured we Americans would not understand what that meant, ha. (The author looks at a bunch of teams before deciding to support Portsmouth.. I feel kind of bad for him right now.)

the count of monte cristo was a really good movie. both were actually. so when you're done reading you should check them out

"How to impress people on the internet with witty retorts".

Haven't opened it yet, like.

Seriously though, I'm re-reading Nirvana: The True Story. Massive [Poor language removed], it is.

I have to read a non-fiction book for summer reading. The book I'm reading is called Founding Brothers. It can be pretty boring at times, I shouldve asked you guys for suggestions but it's too late now.
