On our way back from Fiji to NZ. As a treat for the very hard working Mrs B we upgraded to business class. It's 2pm and we are unashamedly half way through our 2nd bottle of champagne. I could easily get used to this.

On a lark, I bought these and they are quite good...much better than I expected. I don't really drink liquor anymore, just beer, but I wanted to try these as they are great for camping (I don't drink beer while camping since I have to get in and out of the tent all night to pee...liquor just works better).

I had a botttle of Perlenbacher lager from Lidl when I got home. They are cheap but actually quite sweet and sickly after a while.

Now my real partying days were the late 80's and early 90's.im now a sad old git who doesn't really like going out.

But with my work i have a shift pattern that means I do 3 consecutive night shifts every 8 weeks.

When I finish my last night of those i dont sleep all that day. Today is the day.

In the evening I always have 3 of these lovely bad boys weighing in at 5.9% abv.

Sleep deprivation and the alcohol does make it quite trippy.

Later i will be sat in my bucket hat,smiling, with the tunes on.

Then the missus tells me to go to bed.

Sadly no longer indie.
