Biffy Clyro, most of their stuff fantastic especially last 4 albums, Simon Neil is really good Guitar player unlike anyone I've heard a great songwriter too.

No mate, Bristol harbourside, open air thing right on the docks. Cracking venue, saw Paolo Nutini there a couple of years back. Not really my thing him but it was a good gig to be fair:

Just realised Citadel is in July actually.

I'm not that keen on festivals these days as I can't be arsed with thousands of people and being miles from the stage, but that looks a nice size, although difficult to tell from the one photo.

Yeah, I know what you mean. It's only a one night thing, probably a support act as well, I'd guess 1500 maybe? Same space does a few different events over the summer, food festivals and such. We're going to Veg Fest there in May, Marshall Jefferson on the decks should be good.
I reckon urban festivals are the way forward mate! Psychfest in Liverpool was 'kin brilliant last year, and you can just wander into the city for scran or a few bars if you get bored, and kip in a bed!

The 1 day festivals appeal to me more now so I can go home afterwards. Makes me feel old saying that though! There seems to be a big rise in 1 day festivals now, they're everywhere.

I really like the look of Liverpool Sound City this year. The Baltic Warehouse stage for the Saturday has an immense line up with 4 of my favourites playing.
