There is something fabulous about Teenage Fanclub at their best. They clearly love Big Star, The Beach Boys and Neil Young but then what sane person wouldn't? And they are most certainly greater than the sum of their influences. This album should have been called We Love Proper Guitar Music. It is brimming with great songs.
