Had Galaxie 500 CBGBS Live on today.

Fav song off the new Raye album, sounds like a 80s version of a Florence and the machine track.

This live version she just put out with an orchestra is the one, her live performances are always way better imo. I'm not usually into big stadium power ballads but this has got a retro gospel vibe going on which I'm liking. Most technically perfect singer I've ever heard, perhaps guilty of showing off a bit too much sometimes and becoming too elaborate, although when you've got that level of talent it's probably hard to not flex it.
