One of the best albums ever

I do occasionally like to listen to a bit of library music : music usually composed for it to be used as incidental music in films, tv or advertisements.

This was used in a few 60s tv shows, in groovy clubs, with dolly birds dancing, you get the picture. One stands out was Roger Moore in The Persuaders groovin' right on down. A sight to behold I assure you !




This another typical example of library music, from 1970. There was a whole range of music composed, of which some would be very familiar.

While I tend not to enjoy New Year, I haven’t got that many New Years left in me, but Mrs C and myself like to welcome in the inevitable with Jools Holland, normally he has a mixture of people you don’t like, people who challenge you and people you like. This Year’s show was bland, and bland is doing the heavy lifting in that sentence. Hopefully it is an omen for things to come, 2026 will be a non-event rather than the mess it is shaping up to be.

Seriously Caolam....., I thought it was superb, This young lady was fantastic imo
