Been listening to these quite a bit recently.
The early stuff is bad, hippy Hammond organ nonsense, but they change direction with their later stuff and go for a more guitar based sound.
This collab with Peter Hook on bass is particularly good.

Can’t get into their early hippy stuff at all.
He's a legend. A beautiful failure and unsung genius. Fantastic ear for melody and great with words, but can't sing for [Poor language removed]. Clearly very neurodivergent, too.
Felt were one of my favourites from the 80s, and Denim were hilarious, in a good way.
The recent "biography" by Will Hodgkinson is one of the best music books I've read. It's excellent.
