Saw the Skids at Eric's and from then on was fascinated by Adamson. His geetar plucking was something else.

He got the piss taken out of him by the snobs in the music press for his “ bagpipe “ guitar sound, which used to really wind me up, as not only could Adamson was one of the best bass players I’ve ever seen, Tony Butler on bass could play too and the drummer Mark Brezezcki was that good he used to split his time between Big Country and the Cult and guest for other musicians too.
