Possibly just the extension mate. Have you tried taking it off and just plugging the firestick (just the block) into the TV?
Or, maybe try it on a different TV in the house

Really good, the sound engineer wasn't, but they played a really good set. Both times I've seen them, I've loved it!!
Highly recommended if you like their sound..
They played a tiny venue in Liverpool a couple of weeks ago, which I couldn`t get to as it was a Monday night ( school night )
I`ll get to see them though.
On a side note, I,ve signed up to a site, called Bandsintown ( if you`re not on it )
It notifies you of all the bands that are playing in your area, big and small, it`s very good, with no adverts or spam.

But yeah go see them when you can, i love her voice!! It translates well on stage!!
