I had a flick through the jazz section in hmv recently and was staggered at the price of vinyl these days. Zero 'bargains' i.e under a tenner, most 20 quid plus and some upwards of 50 quid ffs. New releases in other genre's similarly priced.
I picked up a selection from a 2nd hand gaff in York last Christmas for my brother's birthday that were reasonably priced but he just wanted 'some jazz' to play in the background so wasn't too limited in choice.

I went to see them a few years ago, at the Academy in Liverpool and he was at the front by himself, pogoing away, with the best of them.

He was on the radio not long after and he talked about the Stranglers, nearly as much as he did about footy !

He`s properly into his punk.
