I like listening to the likes of Pearl Jam and AIC but they’re nowhere near as creative. Prefer Gish, Siamese dream and Melon Collie to most Nirvana stuff as well. Especially their later releases. In retrospect, for me, it was the best stuff to come out of the states in the early to mid 90s.

the vocals put me off Pearl Jam, AIC etc. Much prefer Corgan

The band never really recovered after sacking him for being involved with the o/d of keyboardist. Dunno what kind of line up they have now. They were touring a few years ago but tickets were like £80. Think it was just Billy Corgan then. He’s the kind of guy who wouldn’t like playing older songs either I imagine.
