i listen to it anytime: they all give me goosepimps: the line from her son in the opener "my fleeting Soooooooooong" just soars with beauty.

Lake Tahoe has addictive moreish melodies that the length just flies by, and Misty has arguably Kate's finest lyrical work. I see the images of her dalliance with her snowman so vividly!


But i agree with you that Aerial has a more uplifting vibe, tho' i think "morose" is a little harsh to describe those first 3 Snow pieces...melancholy, wistful, longing i'd go for.

got the Oldfield one on: To France is lovely, Maggie has such a glass-clear voice. The rest of side-1 is a dated cheese-fest, the male singer's cliched delivery and predictable lyrics aren't doing it for me. Oldfield's long-form instrumentals are his strength, none of that so far.

Great Moody Blues LP (Days of Future Past ) is my favourite though and some nice cuts from JEAN Michel and Oldfield too , good stuff
