Tremendous band.
I'll now wheel out my old "Egg and Chips" story.

When they reformed to make Discipline, they didn't initially tour it as King Crimson, but called themselves Discipline. One of their gigs was at the Mountford Hall SU in town. I was a student at the time and we'd got tickets for the gig.

We were in the canteen late afternoon / early evening and Bruford, Levin, Belew and Fripp were having their tea in there, so we mithered them a bit while they were tucking into Egg and Chips.

Currently listening to Nick Mason who recently played the Phil.

Haha excellent anecdote! Fripp nowadays is being all weirdly fun and not-serious.



Love Pink Floyd. Nick still has time for Roger which is always nice.

Nick Mason's Fictitious Sports is a little-known eccentric gem of an album, with Robert Wyatt on vocals and Carla Bley arranging. Even has some fine Philip Glass pisstaking in the final 'mineralist' track.


I'm obsessed with Magma right now...check out that crunchy bass!
