I have, definitely touches of Raymonde and Guthrie and a faint nod to her majesty.
Quite warming to these ,)

Yeah, I sort of weirdly 'resisted' them as posh indie, then I realised one weekend I'd listened to their first album 3 times, and thinking 'actually... I'm well into this lot.'

Brilliant band. Cut short by Jim’s overdose.

If he hadn’t of died so young, The Doors would have probably become remembered in the way The Stones are. Waste of a life and a band.

Heroin destroyed many of that generation who would have otherwise gone on to be musical Icons.

If you like The Doors read Huxley. ‘The Doors of Perception’ is the book the band was named after. It’s Huxley’s experience of Mescaline over a 12 hour period.

After that just read Huxley in his own right. Brave New World is a masterpiece of English literature in its own way. So is Chrome Yellow. Get stuck in!
