I’ve seen them dozens of times and how good the gig is, solely depends on what sort of mood the bellend McCulloch is in.

They used to do a Christmas gig every year in the Academy and I remember one year me and my mates walking out and going back on the ale, as McCulloch was being such an arse.

Totally agree. It always felt like such a contradiction that I loved this band, yet considered their frontman to be a complete fud.
