Just to add to my previous post, I cannot get my head around bands in recent years having their work tagged as 'blues' when it patently is not.
For example, this follows a blues pattern (I-IV-V), but is rock, and Mountain never claimed to be anything but rock.


Whereas THIS is blues, with what I believe is one of the greatest blues solos ever by Peter Green starting at 2:25


Perhaps the above explains better why I think that track by Grainne Duffy is not blues...
