Must give this a listen. Love PJ Harvey and female artists in general - Breeders, Kristin Hersh and recently listened to Chastity Belt loads.

Yup, and PJ Harvey and Kim Deal are the absolute best of them. Ill have to give some of Kristin Hersh's stuff a listen.

I referenced this album yesterday. The original debut album is one of the best, but this demo release is just too darn good. Phew. PJ is such an outstanding talent and I've followed her career since I saw he open for U2 on the Zoo TV tour way back in 1993. The song Dress on the original album, while exceptional, is not my favorite....but it is sensational in it's basic form. Take a listen. Pure talent.
