I've only heard It's a Hard to Find a Friend. I am a fan of that record. I know he has more material out there under his Pedro the Lion moniker, though.

Yep, almost of his Pedro stuff is stellar - As well as 'It's Hard to Find a Friend' i'd massively recommend 'Control' (His darker, heavier side) and 'Winners Never Quit (More beaten down and acoustic)

His 'straightforward' rock band and album (and most recent) 'Lo Tom' is well worth a try too

I like the sound of a darker, heavier side to his material. I'll check that out.

And yes, I can see what you mean by 'straightforward'.
