The new Phoenix seemed decent after a couple of listens. Will have to give it a couple of more spins though.
They are one of those bands though where, after two or three really good albums and a lot of songs I absolutely adore, I just assumed they would lose the quality control and would rarely turn it on again and it seems like that's the case. Last album only really clicked with me when I heard it live, and I think this one will be the same. Going to see them at the end of the month at Vida festival
Heard one track off the new War On Drugs....a long one...forget the name but absolutely loved it. Looking forward to the album

To be honest didn't care much for Phoenix's last album and of the ones I've heard so far from the new one, only one really catches me. I'll give the whole thing a listen.
Great live band though.
just seen them the once. went with my two younger brothers. one of my favourite shows!
