Today I started the day with Nick Drake and Bob Dylan, but thought I better try some new stuff before the festival season starts. lumped in the newest from Feist, Ryan Adams. Solange, Kendrick, Phoenix XX and Afghan Whigs into a playlist. XX sounds really poor. Only Solange and this new track from the Whigs standing out so far. Looking forward to seeing them again at primavera

This thread turned 10 this year and this was the first post on it's 10th birthday. I'm not sure what possessed me to look that up but Laurent Garnier is a good way to mark it.

I've only recently started listening to them. I was in a hostel in Barcelona in March and one of the guys introduced me to them. Lovely lovely music. I'll be making my way through their discography. They remind me of Real Estate in that they make very calming music.
