I've been so busy lately I've only just got around to listen to it. Sounds like trademark Bonobo so far. Not disappointed at all. What are your thoughts on this mate?
I like it, not quite up there with North Borders or Black Sands but good album.I've been so busy lately I've only just got around to listen to it. Sounds like trademark Bonobo so far. Not disappointed at all.
What's your verdict?
It's a bit more mellow than Black Sands and even The North Borders, which I find surprising considering he's been DJ'ing loads over the last couple of years. I think he's planning a new live show.I like it, not quite up there with North Borders or Black Sands but good album.
Listened to Dial M way back in the day, keep meaning to revisit some of his earlier stuff, too much new choonage out there! It's a bit more mellow than Black Sands and even The North Borders, which I find surprising considering he's been DJ'ing loads over the last couple of years. Have you ever listened to his older stuff like Dial M For Monkey and Animal Magic? Well worth a listen those two in particular. Days To Come is decent too.
Are you listening to the Paul Temple adaptations on R4 Extra this week ? Entertaining in a 1959 upper class amateur detective/crime writer with a wife and working class servant who solves wickedly fiendish mysteries way. It's quite diverting as you contemplate another day at the coalface.
