Man I did not want that to end, utterly superb album throughout. 666 and 8 (circle) were big highlights.

Definitely echoed my thoughts. Also loved the absolute desolation on Creeks. Gonna have it on repeat for the foreseeable I reckon - just love its originality.

He died earlier this year. From Liverpool too.

We haven't half produced some great musical talent.

Aye mate I was really sad to hear about that this year. Not wrong regarding some top talent, my favourites were the Lotus Eaters and The Bunnymen. I ended up watching that video late last night, that's when music videos were really such a powerful visual tool to accompany the songs.

Going to give this a go today. Wasn't too fussed about his/their first two but this one seems right up my street. Crazy amount of good albums out yesterday.

Bon Iver album is good ennit. The structure reminds me of the first few Deerhunter albums. A bit of a (good) mess then a cleaner song brings in together.

Have higher hopes for Hval and Jaar, tho.
