Gave the new The 1975 album a spin (got a copy of the leak) and it's a very, very mixed bag. It is all over the place, there's like acoustic ballads, dancefloor indie, funk insired pop, a gospel tinged track and even one weirdly similar to M83. Some really good songs on it (Lostmyhead, This Must Be My Dream, Somebody Else) but there is so much wank on it too. 17 tracks, like probably 6, don't mind 5, dislike 6. When they're good, they're real good, but when it's bad it's a little cringey.

Jamie T is awful. Wish they'd just adandon this whole promoting anything from London that's "hip hop". It's 90% cringeworthy and hurts my ears.

Who will comfort me is one of the best vocal performances I've heard in years, different album though
