"Banquet" by Bloc Party is one of those songs that I couldn't hum to you at all, but if I heard it I'd be like "Oh yeah, I recognise that. Good song" but once it's over I completely forget what it sounds like

What makes this especially peculiar is that if you mentioned Bloc Party to me I'd be "Oh yeah, they're the band that play Banquet aren't they?"

Incidentally, this is what happens when you have a long commute to work and reach a point where the only CD you haven't listened to for a long time is the Bloc Party album that has Banquet on it
