Went to see the cribs on Fri, they were alright. Seemed like quite angry chaps though.

Listening to Adam Ant and Squeeze today.

I saw them last night as my mates band, The Wytches, supported them. I haven't listen to them in years/since the Man's Needs album and thought they were really good, sounded exactly like they did 9 years ago or so. Had a great time tbh, not been to an indie gig like that in years.

I saw the Cribs in 2007, 2008 and at Reading Festival this year. Each time they've been brilliant, and haven't really changed at all.

Men's Needs, Women's Needs, Whatever is their best album, in my opinion.

Mogwai - Central Belters. Just released triple disc retrospective.



Mostly album and single tracks with some odd rarities. Probably not essential if you've got their albums, but a great introduction and a first class 'best of' album.
