Part 2 of my April gig-a-thon was cut short last night.

Me and me mate went to the Star and Garter in Manchester to see 'The World is a Beautiful Place & I am No Longer Afraid to Die' (seriously, why did they make their name so long?). They only had a set of 8 songs, but were supported by 4 bands which had us pressed for time. This was because the last train from Oxford Road to Lime Street was due at 11:20pm. Which meant me and me mate had to bail at 11:05pm, we must have looked like bad nobheads bailing through Manchester city centre toward Oxford Road station. They were awesome live, and I was gutted to have to miss the last 2 songs.

Long story short, this band is boss, check 'em out:

It's a great name. Up there with 'Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin'
