Been listening to the new Manchester Orchestra album. Immense. Have played it like 5 times in a row, can't get off it. I listened to the Cloud Nothings record first, but I like this better.

Ye, wasn't a massive fan of the new Cloud Nothings, all a bit too trying to be lo-fi in a better recording studio. Prefer their other albums.
Going to give this a go, haven't listened to them in years.

Going to see Manchester Orchestra in 9 days, in Manchester funnily enough.
Haven't had the chance to listen to the album yet but if it's half as good as Simple Math (Maths ffs! You darn yanks) then I'll be happy.

It's better by quite a bit in my opinion. It may just be more to my taste of fast, direct, loud songs with big choruses though. The last one is a sparse guitar and vocal but it's a stunner.
