Isn't it? I love the bit about him looking down the back of Van Ronk's sofa to see if Dylan had lost any songs down there.

I've had this for a few years but have only just taken the cellophane off. I guess he's become almost irrelevant to me. I really liked You Are The Quarry but was underwhelmed by Ringleader of the Tormentors. This one isn't catching fire yet.

Same here mate. Been underwhelmed with the last few. I think it's more down to weaker tunes than his lyrics or melodies though. When I listen to his 90's output, the last couple records just aren't in the same league at all.
 
Just back from seeing The National in Belfast, arrived on stage later than than stated start time, but they certainly made up for it with a fantastic performance! Matt Berninger what a showman spent most of the encore in with the fans ,did a fair bit of crowd surfing as well. only downside for me was they did not play "American Mary". Anyone going to the O2 in Dublin tomorrow is in for a treat!
