Was going to try trump you with Flying Nun Records or The Clean but then remember thats NZ.. They sound quite a bit like Felt, one of the most under-rated bands ever imo

Well speaking of underrated NZ bands, you should check out the Chills. I used to listen to them quite a bit back in the late 80's. The 80's were a particularly ripe period for Kiwi bands.
