I just got the parts in the mail for this little ditty. Beezer, you out there? Check this out. I'm trying to pull together three other partners in crime to do this somewhere next year. Don't know if you've heard of these guys - they work in the Bay Area as "Edmund Welles" as a quartet, and the two lads in the middle work as a duet called "Squonk".
Our foursome will work as "Danger UXB" - if you've done enough BC work, you know exactly why. Playing BC is just like defusing bombs, as the occasional "squonk" here demonstrates.
[warning - woodwind geek talk next]
I sent my old Selmer model 33 in for a frame off restoration, complete with a new set of black roo pads and a set of mods for the sub Eb extension keys in the back so I can finally get from the low C to D cleanly. Should be back next week and I'm buzzing w/ anticipation - my right thumb can't stop twitching...
Here's something you don't hear every day. This won't be on Radio Merseyside anytime soon.
