Two of my favourite albums of the year, so far. FIDLAR edge it slightly.

Sounds sort of like MGMT/M83 inspired to me, her voice is lovely though.
I do love the Smiths
Even "Meat is Murder", which is a good album but but also incredibly worthy

ok, will freely admit I've never heard of this guy (although I should have seen him if he really is that tall)

A lot of people seem to say that, but I just don't see it. Dylan slurs his words more and Matsson is a better singer than Bob ever was.
Having said that I'm not a big Dylan fan.

Yes it is. I've only listened to it a couple of times through but it's much like their previous albums. In a good way, of course.
Another one of my ambient artists, BLF you might just love this. Loving every track off it so far, going to give his EP and other album a listen after it.

I'm listening to this rather moody electronic album.
When somethings "worthy" it means that it's good but in a "you should like this", sort of way
For example, Shredded Weat would be "worthy". It's good for you and tastes nice, but it's not overly exciting.
"Meat is Murder" has a lot of great songs and has a strong message to it, but it's not really fun. "The Queen is Dead" is musically good but also has songs like "Vicar in a Tu-Tu" which perhaps doesn't contain as powerful a message as, say, "Headmasters Ritual", but it's just a lot easier to listen to it and have fun while doing so
Does that make any sense? I feel I've done a rather poor job explaining.
