What are you currently listening to?

Bit of Bombay Bicycle Club's I Had The Blues album on the drive home, haven't listened to this in a while.

I love BBC. Just fired them up on Spotify now that you mention them!

I love BBC too. I have this place to thank for the recommendation. This is my favourite off that album:

For me that song is up there with Lamplight, Always Like This, Evening/Morning and Cancel on Me. All brilliant songs. There is a sort of ambient/chill remix of that song! Here it is:

Yeah they are. I haven't listened to that one in a little while though so I forgot what names go with which songs, just went through iTunes to check! I think I prefer A Different Kind of Fix to that album, but only marginally.

Oh and I'll give that a listen.

I didn't give that one a proper listen for some reason, I just like coasted through it not paying attention. If I have time I'll go through it before I go out later, just listening to another ambient artist I've found, need to calm down with all this electronic music.

Yeah I do that alot tbh.

Ha, I know what you mean. I've lost hours upon hours to YouTube and endless trawling!

Oh Lawdy.

Yes Kieran. YES!!!11!!1!

I love this man.

*windmills*

He's just an incredible producer. I hope this next album is even half as good as Rounds.

Last.fm was so good for finding really brilliant hidden gems that nobody had heard of before it went rubbish. That's where I got most of mine.

Forgot I had this! Brilliant tune.

Hi lads, I love music do you? Love music me. All types of music. Even when me mar is using the hoover in the morning combined with the washing machine I hear rhythmic beats lads. I don't do mainstream music, that's for plums and noobs! That's the type of people watching Top Of The Pops and buying Now albums the whoppers. No not me, I'm into cutting edge music, fresh bands and new sounds.

Currently, lads, my playlist has 8,384 songs on it I get through that easy in the week. No song stays in my playlist for more than two weeks or by then it could be too mainstream. I found Blur in 1991 before anyone else and Radiohead were making me drink gin and hate myself in the late eighties. I've got one of them musical ears that you can't train lads.

Anyway I bet you're dying to hear my top five bands of the week. I'm going to delete these from my platinum iPod as soon as I share this post as you'll all be onto them and they'll turn mainstream. But here it goes:

Album...................... Band........................Genre

Dieschdog...................Rocktepunk 800XL......Acid Rock

Time of my soul..........Disgusted Clarence.....Acoustic jazz

CloudConnected..........Stappensticker...........Trance

Melinda's Garden........Mimi Le Fleur.............Two beat soul

Latte o'clock...............The Hull Project..........Easy listening fused punk

JESUS! Haven't listened to these in years! Or The Libertines! Used to proper love them. I need to sort it out.

Two of my favourite bands of all time right there!

The Cribs are ace live too. So much energy, but Ryan Jarman's voice does go a bit off as he's usually absolutely slaughtered.
