WHAT A DIFFERENCE A WEEK MAKES

Heard spirit of the blues for the first time in so long at Goodison today and i've listened to it about 2000 times since I've got in. Bloody love it!
Come on you blue boys(y)

The two wins this week have been a breath of fresh air, whatever the quality of the opposition. One more to go to really keep the season on track to be a success. COYB!

I think it's important to manage expectation.

We finished 7th last season and got to a Cup Semi. I think finishing 6th or 5th and hopefully getting into Europe either that way or via the Cup will be positive progress.

A lot of the depression on here at the mo is because of the Champions League and us being 'in the running' for a few months, imo. As electricblue said, no point looking to something that isn't achievable.

Been reading Moyeseys book Bren?

Is right mate. Bored of the moaning on here.

Doesn't matter how well we do, we're not going to win three more games than Spurs with 10 to go.

The Champions League was just a pipedream, given our financial situation and squad size 6th/5th place and a good cup run is pretty much the most we can hope for.

We've still got to play all of those teams too, but we have four aways while they only have two. Of those four aways we've not won three of them under Moyes.

haha! brennerz pop corning all over the show again!

That elusive factor of confidence and self belief. Regardless of actual score and result today it just looked as though 3/4 key players such as kev, pienaar, Gibson looked happier in their skins today, even jelavic in terms of the shift he put in. The goals will come back nikica, just keep showing lad.
