….never heard of EDC but I do carry poo bags when we have to look after Eddie, my daughters dog. Normally a couple of days per week, although he’s with us for 9 days from Friday as my daughter and her clan are on holiday.

Knew a fella who always carried a little multi-tool / swiss knife thing around claiming it was an everyday life improving essential rather than the handyman/survivalist affectation he was clearly projecting.
To be clear he worked in an office and did absolutely no manual work of any kind whatsoever. Got to the point where he used it to open a bag of crisps claiming it was "an easier way".
