We've been poor far too often

it's pretty bad right now, yeah. and the upcoming fixtures don't inspire much confidence, i'll give you that.

but for as bad as all this is, think of how awesome it's going to be when we have fit players again

seriously - look at all the mother******* talent we have on our bench. when we've got them fit again, and playing together it's going to be like a wondrous GOLDEN AGE OF GLORIOUS FOOTBALL.

seriously though, i can't wait for that [Poor language removed]. probably going to cry when i see jags and arteta take the pitch again.

I'll cry too, especially the away trips to Plymouth and Peterborough. :(

You think you got it bad? Injury crisis my arse.

All media hyped [Poor language removed] really. Everton's injury problems are or have been worse recently and don't get nearly the same publicity as ours. I'd be very angry if I was a blue...

Not sure if your being serious or not.

Used to arguing with kopites on the internet.

I'm going to go to bed:o

He's one of them sound reds. Puts a few on the back foot.

We're [Poor language removed] but could be great if/when we get our injured players back.

Problem is half the season will have gone by then.

We're still ace, we just need reminding of it sometimes, hopefully soon.

Thing is mate and I know you can relate to this because I've seen you during a game. When were [Poor language removed] we have to say so, too many people here refuse to admit it or look for excuses.

When Everton are ace we can talk about that and revel in their glory, but when they are poor I would prefer to talk about why they are poor, what is not working, who is not pulling their weight, and who is simply not good enough.

We can all say that we had a mismatch in defence, but the game wasn't lost there, we were exposed because the midfield were terrible. No ball retention, not enough steel and not enough creativity.

Theres no doubt that some of the senior players failed to stand up last night but it happened. If I would have typed post game I would have been seething but thats just pride.

In the cold harsh light of day it was a bridge too far with the injuries we had. Luckily we have the chance to put it right in two weeks, which we probably wont do but then I'll find other excuses for my inadequate football team.

Being serious mate, I am unbiased in my views, I'd be willing to concede that Everton had the worst injury problems in the premier league last season.

I think we're in big trouble right now, looking at the upcoming fixtures it'll be march til we can come up for air, nothing but tough games for the next 3-4 months really. I think this season we'll be very lucky to finish in the top 8.

Finishing top 8 this season just isn't going to happen now, unless something amazingly unlikely happens.

A cup final would be nice compensation though!
The return of injured players and the newer signings should mean that in January, we might just start playing decent football at last.
