Completely different side to the one that played against Hull.

Still not firing on all cylinders due a few players being out of it - Barry, Barkley, both fullbacks.

But tighter, organised, mixes it up. And we do look threatening.

Surprisingly enough McGeady the best player on the park. Robles very assured.

Poor in the final third and they look threatening on the counter. Not a great combination but still feeling confident we can sneak through.

right I'm basically convinced that barkley isn't allowed to run inside the area of the opposition, its the only possible explanation. every single time he could be darting into the box he doesn't and just minces about outside.
Absolutely. He plays from the half way line to their box but never actually looks to get in the box.

He's playing like someone with no confidence so I suggest we lay of him. On the ball the touch and quick feet are still there to see but he looks to be playing scared.

Robles boss save 1v1 and good coming for corners

Besic brilliant again

Barkley good on the ball still a lazy sod off it

Naismith's passing has been diabolical

Rom looks a little lost

Mcgeady actually looks ok

If Ian Darke doesnt stop negging on Everton I am gonna fart in his corn flakes tomorrow morning.

The man looks like he was decapitated and the surgeons put a bucket load of fat arses together to make his new head.

Decent half, the difference between that and Hull is massive.

Lukaku and Besic have done well, nice to see Lukaku getting involved and can tell he prefers direct play, he needs to keep an eye on the defensive line though.

Barkley has done well starting attacks, but he annoys the crap out of me when they have the ball, someone needs to tell him that he's not Zidane just yet.

McGeady has also done well, nice to see him coming inside a bit, he's clearly going to lose the ball a lot, and that's what besic is for I guess. He's also done his bit defensively.

We should win this.

Good first half, only problem is a lack of cutting edge in the final third! Would like to see a few shots from distance, Barkley more than capable of scoring from outside the box

A reasonably typical Everton (circa season 2014/15) performance. Barry looks slow, Barkley meh, Lukaku's ball control needs work, Naismith passes it to opposition players and McGeady is being McGeady.
