I am travelling down by car tomorrow night not been before to west ham cant wait. Can someone please give me some advice about travel?

Will it be best to drive as close to stadium as possible and pay for parking near ground?

Or will it be best to get to some sort of train station underground/overground and park there and get train in and back?

Any help greatly received blues.

Im parking at Brent Cross. Id have preferred to get a bit nearer, somewhere like Upminster, but really dont fancy the M25 on a weeknight at rush hour. Rather spend 45 minutes on the tube.

Getting the 13:47 from Lime Street for this if anyone is on the same train?

Ended up booking some rubbish accomodation round the corner for £27 for the room! Dickens Lodge .. I'm sure it'll suffice for the few hours were there

There is a lot of free of charge street parking near the ground (if you get there early that is) but the whole area will be horribly snarled up with traffic and London buses, especially if you use the M25 and come in via Romford, Dagenham, Barking etc.

Don't park anywhere near the ground. that place is a giant car park after the match.
