These were there for the taking and we just look so average, no spark, no fight.

I'm not sure having someone who can hold the ball up front will do anything other than see us get burned on the break if the ball's lost, it's been too lethargic in midfield. Not being able to keep hold of it keeps them back and less prone to counter.
