The historic rivalry between the Irons and us Blues is one of the biggest in the EPL (outside of the big 6 clubs’ rivalries) I don’t know about the rest of NZ, but I for one will definitely be watching a highlights package of those two teams’ next historic clash.

The rivalry is very real and very strong. Two clubs with similar aspiration of getting 7th. Of course it’s going to be a little testy from time to time. I think some on here are overegging things

Is it?
I don't recall any historic rivalry from this parochial London club. In my experience, they spent most of their time in another division. They have one it two good spells now and then, and used to play attractive football in the past, but they're nothing like Everton.

Used to quite like them, but since the government started supporting them with a taxpayer funded stadium, and their fans have become all entitled, they can do one back to the lower league where they belong in my books.

I'd dispute the 'horrible owners' from personal experience. Many years ago, I was very vulnerable business wise, and spent some time in that there Lahndahn, talking to creditors and arranging financial stuff, because my company was pretty close to insolvent. Out of all the major companies, the Gold Brothers and David Sullivan were the friendliest, most sympathetic, and helpful. So much so that their patience and understanding contributed greatly to turning my company round. Even in those days(pre Karen Brady) they were football mad and wanted to get involved with a club. They eventually got to Birmingham City, and treated club ownership with the same over sensitivity, as our own former owner and current chairman. They earned a reputation for never sacking a manager, this changed eventually, but they still in fact, do not like sacking long term employees(sound familiar?)

It's the porn affiliation that describes them as horrible.
